Psalm 26:7:

That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving,

And tell of all Your wondrous works…

It happened in the early morning, on Friday, 1st September.  There was a catering for an exhibition opening at Makarios Cafe.  So, I took a box of table clothes (about 10) when leaving the house as we need them for the food tables.  As I was about to go down the stairs I tripped and I knew that I was going to fall and I suddenly had this thought that I was going to smash my face on the metal ladder hanging on the wall and that my legs would be broken….

Then, I actually sensed that the tip of my right foot was lightly touching the first step, then the second…and suddenly (I did not know how), I was standing on the landing, at the foot of the stairs.

I was standing upright and still holding the box of table clothes (although it was quite heavy) and I did not even stumble.  Just then my sister Yvonne came to the door and said something …I did not answer her… All I knew was that I was saying “Praise the Lord, Thank You Jesus”… over and over again….and I just went to the lift…feeling amazed.

I could not speak of this incident to anyone (except my Pastor in church on Sunday), because I could not even explain to myself why I was not hurt.  That it is only by the mercy and grace of God that I am up and about.
